After winning the coveted title, Krystyna Pyszkova's Miss World campaign in India came to a close, and the Czech Republican model expressed her happy memories of her time spent in the host nation.
At a lavish ceremony held here on Saturday, Pyszkova was crowned Miss World 2024; Indian competitor Sini Shetty barely placed in the top 8. Yasmina Zaytoun, Miss Lebanon, came in first runner-up.

Pyszkova's 'Beauty With A Purpose' project at the contest focused on "quality education for children," and the model claimed that her inspiration came from spending time with kids in the Dharavi slums.
"Every day I spent in India was incredibly vibrant and unique. We went to a lot of lovely locations and projects. When any of the finalists and I went to visit the Dharavi Project, for instance, we were all greatly moved by the opportunity to engage with young people who are attempting to realise their ambitions via music. It was amazing. The Miss World 2024 told PTI here that she would be delighted to see them again very soon.

"It's evident that everyone here is sincerely working towards their goals. In my opinion, intent is the most crucial factor. We need to be aware of our lifestyles, and I'll bring it home," she uttered.
The volunteer activist continued, "She won't disappoint. The Miss World crown is a responsibility."
"I will work hard because I realise how much it means not only to me but to the whole organisation (Miss World Organisation) to do well for us to be a good advocate for important causes," she stated.
During the glamorous finale held here, Pyszkova was crowned by Poland's outgoing Miss World Karolina Bielawska.

After Tatana Kucharova, the 2006 Miss World winner, Pyszkova is the second Miss World representative from the Czech Republic.
The Jio World Convention Centre in BKC hosted the 71st Miss World pageant, which attracted candidates from 112 countries.
India, which last hosted the competition in 1996, has won six times: in 1966 with Reita Faria Powell, in 1994 with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, in 1997 with Diana Hayden, in 1999 with Yukta Mookhey, in 2000 with Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and in 2017 with Manushi Chillar.
