What did Sunil Ambekar say on conversion?
Sunil Ambekar, while answering the question on the language controversy, said that the RSS has always maintained that all languages of India are national languages. All people already receive education in their own language and this is already established. On conversion, he said that one has the right to worship in one's own way, but if someone tries to convert someone's opinion by conspiracy or by luring them, then it is wrong. Society always tries to stop this.
On the statements of banning the RSS from the Congress, he said that the RSS was banned earlier and then had to be withdrawn. It was not legally valid, so it had to be withdrawn. On the question of expelling illegal intruders, he said that the workers of the RSS are working continuously. We have done the work of awakening earlier also, and are still working continuously.
The situation in Manipur is improving
On the situation in Manipur, he said that whenever there is some controversy, it takes time to become normal, but gradually the situation is improving. On the action against Naxalites, he said that Naxal violent conspiracy was going on and there was a discussion in the society that it should be ended. In democracy, there is a way to express views in a democratic manner. It is a good thing that action is being taken against Naxalism.
Constitution was also oppressed
On the question of reviewing socialism and secularism apart from emergency, Sunil Ambekar said that during emergency, just like people were oppressed in jails, similarly the constitution was also oppressed. The circumstances in which the constitution was changed were not good. The new generation should know about this.
