The Prime Minister praised the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra for enabling more than 1 crore farmers to register for the PM KISAN scheme, and he also praised the use of technology in getting benefits to the rightful recipients. He went on to say that in order to make things more accessible, laws and regulations have been streamlined. "When intentions and beliefs are in the right place, work related to farmer welfare proceeds quickly," said Shri Modi.

The Prime Minister discussed the PM Matsya Sampada Yojana and the advantages of Kisan Credit Cards in order to shed light on the efforts made by the government to increase the revenue of fish farmers. In order to help individuals engaged in fish farming in Varanasi, he also disclosed the development of a contemporary fish market in Chandauli, which is expected to cost roughly Rs 70 crores.
The prime minister expressed his joy that Varanasi is witnessing a boom in PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojna. He said that about 40,000 residents have signed up for the programme, 2,500 homes have solar panels installed, and work is still being done on 3,000 more. Speaking about the work done over the past ten years to improve connectivity in Varanasi and surrounding villages, the Prime Minister highlighted the completion of flyovers in Phulwaria and Chaukaghat, the country's first city ropeway project, which is nearing completion in Varanasi, the ring road connecting Ghazipur, Azamgarh, and Jaunpur, the renovation of Banaras Hindu University's new facilities, the development along the Ganga Ghats, the renovation of the city's Kunds, and new systems being developed in various Varanasi locations. Following his third swearing-in ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi authorised the release of the 17th installment of PM Kisan Nidhi, demonstrating the government's commitment to the welfare of farmers.In keeping with this pledge, the Prime Minister used Direct Benefit Transfer to distribute the 17th installment, totaling more than Rs 20,000 crores, to approximately 9.26 lakh farmers who are eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN). Under PM-KISAN, over 11 crore eligible farmer families have already benefited to the tune of about Rs 3.04 lakh crores.
Additionally, over 30,000 women from Self Help Groups (SHGs) received certificates from the Prime Minister designating them as Krishi Sakhis. The Krishi Sakhi Convergence Programme (KSCP) seeks to empower rural women as Krishi Sakhi and to rehabilitate rural areas by training and certifying Krishi Sakhis as Para-extension Workers. The goals of the "Lakhpati Didi" Programme are likewise in line with this certification programme.
