The Congress condemned a Raja for saying, "We are enemies of Ram." The party claimed that people should talk with discretion, while RJD, an ally from India, said that the Raja's statement was his own.
With his remarks regarding the slogans "Jai Shri Ram" and "Bharat Mata ki Jai," a Raja has inflamed controversy.

Senior party leader A Raja's remarks on the slogans "Jai Shri Ram" and "Bharat Mata ki Jai" as well as the statement "we are enemies of Ram" have sparked a new controversy, coming days after Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader Udhayanidhi Stalin sparked controversy with his remarks on Sanatana Dharma. A Raja allegedly advocated for the "Balkanization of India...as well as made disparaging comments on Manipuris and questions the idea of India, as a nation," according to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
A Raja's lecture from Madurai was posted by BJP IT cell leader Amit Malviya, with the translation reading, "India is not a nation." Recognise this clearly. India is not a country. One language, one custom, and one culture define a nation. Only then is it a single country. India is a subcontinent, not a country. Why is it the case? Tamil is one nation, one country here. One language, one nation, and one country is Malayalam. Oriya is a language, a nation, and a nation. These countries together make up India. India is therefore a subcontinent rather than a country. There are countless customs and civilizations. Tamil Nadu has a culture that you can experience there. There is another culture in Kerala. There's another culture in Delhi. Why do people in Manipur eat dog meat, as RS Bharathi mentioned? They do indeed eat, it is true. It is a culture. Nothing is amiss. We only think about it.""We in Tamil Nadu will never accept Bharat Mata and Jai Shri Ram if you claim that this is this God, that this is Jai Sri Ram, and that this is Bharat Mata ki Jai.Tamil Nadu declines to accept. We are Ram's adversaries, you go and tell," A Raja was cited as saying in a News18 article.

AGREEABLE REACTIONS
The Congress has condemned a Raja for saying, "We are enemies of Ram." The party stated that one should talk with discretion. Supriya Shrinate, a spokesman for the Congress, declared, "I completely disagree with his remarks." Using this platform, I denounce this assertion. I think Ram is all-encompassing and a part of everyone."

Tejashwi Yadav, an ally of India, dissociated his party from A Raja's remarks, claiming that they did not originate from the alliance. This is Tejashwi Yadav's personal statement, he stated. It is not owned by us."

BJP RELATES TO COUNTEROFFENSIVE ACTS
BJP member of parliament Ravi Shankar Prasad attacked A Raja and the INDIA bloc harshly. The DMK has expressed its disagreement with the leader's comments regarding "Jai Shri Ram" and India, stating that "the hallmark of the alliance's political agenda has become questioning the very idea of India and humiliating Hindu Gods."

"He [A Raja] remarked that we will never accept "Jai Shri Ram" and "Bharat Mata ki Jai," according to Ravi Shankar Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi concur with this? Will DMK make such disparaging remarks about gods from other religions? We honour every faith.

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad responds to DMK leader A Raja's comments against "Jai Shri Ram" and the concept of India, saying, "It is evident that insulting India's ethos, publicly humiliating Hindu Gods, and questioning the very idea of India has become the hallmark of the INDIA political agenda." Is Congress prepared to tolerate such remarks, willing to go to such lengths for their political advantage?"

"They are the ones that mistreat Hindi, talk about ending India, support the 'tukde tukde' gang, and raise slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad' after their leader wins the Rajya Sabha elections," Union Minister Anurag Thakur announced.

After sharing A Raja's speech, Amit Malviya tweeted, "The hate speech coming from the DMK stable doesn't stop." Following the appeal by Udhayanidhi Stalin to destroy Sanatan Dharma, it is now A Raja who suggests splitting up India, mocks Bhagwan Ram, disparages Manipuris, and casts doubt on the concept of India as a nation."
