The jeep safari and elephant rides in the Kaziranga range of Kohora will be suspended from March 7 to 9 in anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's planned visit to the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve in Assam.

According to a warning from the Eastern Assam Wildlife Division's Divisional Forest Officer, Arun Vignesh, "Visitors will not be able to enjoy the vehicle safari or elephant rides in the Kaziranga Range, Kohora. Elephant rides will not be available on March 8 or 9, and Jeep safaris will not be operating in the afternoon on March 7, 8, or 9.

Later in the day, PM Modi will dedicate the 125-foot-tall "Statue of Valour" in Jorhat, which pays tribute to the legendary Ahom general Lachit Barphukan. The prime minister will then travel to Meleng Meteli Pothar, which is located in the Jorhat district, to officially launch and lay the groundwork for numerous state and federal projects totaling over ₹18,000 crore. In addition, he is scheduled to give a speech in public at the same location.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to travel to Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh from March 8 to 10.

He'll then participate in the 'Viksit Bharat Viksit North East' programme at Itanagar at 10:30 AM. He is going to introduce the UNNATI programme, which is estimated to cost over ₹10,000 crore, and inaugurate the Sela Tunnel during this event. He will also lay the groundwork, dedicate, and open a number of development projects in Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh that total about ₹55,600 crore.

The Prime Minister will then travel to Jorhat at around 12:15 PM to officially unveil the magnificent statue of the great Ahom general Lachit Borphukan. Along with inaugurating, dedicating, and laying the cornerstone for several development projects worth over ₹17,500 crore in Assam, he will also take part in a public programme in Jorhat.
